this is the first abby-narrated book of the series. since she is new & everything. i stopped reading the babysitters club series as a child long before abby came into the picture, but i really enjoy her as an adult. i feel like she is a tool for the ghostwriters to make fun of the other characters. in the very first chapter, she refers to kristy as a "bossy beast". i love the tension /5. M#35 Abby and the Notorious Neighbor Summary. You'd think that a book which mostly involved Abby staring out her window would be boring, but I actually enjoyed this one. Maybe it's because I've always secretly wanted to catch one of.

Book Fair Excursions ; Secondary School Reading Programmes ; Catch Them Young (CATHY) Prison Libraries ; Internet Learning Centre ; Special Projects ; Zaccheus Onumba Dibiaezue ; Our Team ; Board of Trustees ; Jobs and Internships ; ZODML Newsroom. This book sadly fails to make a bird pun.

Abby uses the binoculars her dad had for birdwatching to keep an eye on her neighbor, whose last name is Finch. A finch is also a type of bird, common in suburban yards.

I kept expecting someone to ask Abby why she had the binoculars out and her to reply, "Birdwatching." The numbers: Starting 8th grade: Abby and the Notorious Neighbor Chapters Of course Abby is going to think that Mr.

Finch is the criminal, because this book is a rip off of the movie Rear Window. That’s what Abby compares the situation to later. I haven’t seen the movie, so I can’t comment.

I’ll say it’s like the episode of The Simpsons where Bart breaks.
